Welcome to matthewsmith.com.  I am (one of the many) Matthew Smith’s in the world, and probably one of many in the St. Louis, MO area.  I have owned this domain for around 3-4 years, and — to this point — have only used it for email.  Today, I got a little bored at lunch and decided to throw wordpress up on the site.  I am not quite sure what I am going to write about.  I am a front-end developer (HTML, CSS, JS), but usually don’t talk about that too much outside of work.  I am also working on my MBA at UMSL.  Over the last couple years, I have had a growing interest in marketing, finance, logistics, and other subjects related to that degree.  Besides school and work, I have a pretty curious (and often wandering) mind and am an avid reader of blogs spanning topics such as gadgets, design, furniture, economics, etc.  You can see what I am reading by going to my Netvibes Universe or by browsing my del.icio.us bookmarks.
